From Business Problems to SQL and Charts

After connecting to the database, you can select a data source and model in AI Copilot and describe your query requirements using natural language. The generated SQL can be copied to the console for further editing or executed to view the results; if an error occurs during execution, you can submit the error to the conversational assistant for help with correcting it.

The Dashboard is used to organize charts and reports. You can select data sources, define the metrics you want to display, generate charts, and add them to the dashboard. SQL editing, result verification, and chart creation are all integrated into a single workspace, making it easy to iterate on a single analytical problem.

Chat2DB offers clients for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and supports databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.CommunityIt is an open-source database client designed primarily for local use;ProAdd Text2SQL, SQL autocomplete and optimization, visual dashboards, and team collaboration;LocalDesigned for local or offline use; however, an internet connection is still required when using hosted AI.

Usage Limits in Database Work

Natural language queries still rely on correct table structures, field definitions, and business criteria. Before execution, you should verify the filter conditions, join relationships, and scope of the generated SQL; for exploratory analysis, it is recommended to use read-only accounts to avoid applying update or delete statements directly to production data. The fact that a client can connect to a database locally does not mean that no data is transmitted when calling cloud-based AI; the AI service being used and the context it is permitted to access should be evaluated separately.
