This workflow is suitable for creating variations of product visuals, social media images, and concept art. Prompts should specify which elements to modify and which to keep unchanged; when working on packaging, clothing structures, or facial features, compare the changes to the original image to ensure that local modifications do not affect details that are meant to remain unchanged.

Video and Creative Canvas

Generate VideoYou can generate camera shots from text or static images, set parameters such as aspect ratio and camera movement, and download the result as an MP4 file. After generation, you can open the video editor to trim and rearrange clips, adjust the timeline, or add voiceovers, music, and sound effects. This tool is ideal for supplementing B-roll, creating dynamic product footage, and validating storyboards.

Firefly Boards provides an infinite canvas for brainstorming ideas, allowing you to arrange reference materials, images, and video concepts into mood boards or storyboards to review and refine them with your team. By standardizing composition, color schemes, and camera angles before producing the full set of materials, you’ll have a clearer foundation for the production process.

Model Selection and Commercial Use

Firefly offers both Adobe’s proprietary models and models from partners. The model you choose affects the available controls, output types, and generation quotas; therefore, not all options on the platform should be treated as the same generation service. For the same task, you can keep the same input and reference conditions and then compare the usability of the results from different models.

Adobe states that its proprietary Firefly models are trained using licensed content and public domain content whose copyright has expired; different terms may apply to collaborative models. For commercial projects, it is still necessary to review the terms of use for the selected model, as well as the licensing of people, trademarks, and uploaded materials. Platform-generated content credits can help document the AI’s involvement in the process, but they do not replace a review of the facts and rights related to the final product.
