Milestones

Lingyun Optical's development history can be traced back to the start of its business in 1996, when the company partnered with SDL and Fibercore to support the development of the first Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifiers (EDFA) in China, such as those from Wuhan University of Science and Technology (WUSD) and Tsinghua University. Since then, the company has gradually entered the machine vision field and has accumulated more than 20 years of technical experience in optical imaging, vision software and algorithms, and core vision components. • 1999: Provided color detection and sorting solutions for tobacco and cotton industries with CCD prism spectroscopy.
• 2000: Cooperated with Shanghai Banknote Printing Factory to develop "On-line Quality Inspection System for Renminbi Large-size Gravure Printing".
• 2002: Ling Yun Guang was officially established.
• 2005: Started independent research and development of machine vision core algorithm platform VisionWARE.
• 2012: "Stereoscopic Video Reconstruction and Display Technology and Device", developed in cooperation with Tsinghua University, won the first prize of National Invention.
• 2022: Lingyunlight successfully landed on the A-share Science and Technology Board.
