Coralogix: From Israeli Military Intelligence to $10 Billion Unicorn, the Invisible King of the AI O&M Circuit
Last night, Israeli AI software surveillance unicorn Coralogix closed a $200 million (roughly Rs. 1.35 billion) Series Ffinancing, with a post-investment valuation of $1.6 billion (roughly Rs. 10.8 billion).
The funding round amount will be utilized in three main areas: research and development of AI intelligences capabilities, telemetry data technology facility building, and market expansion. Coralogix has seen revenue growth of more than 60% over the past year and its annualized revenue surpassed $100 million just over a year ago, with more than 5,000 customers worldwide including IBM, Tradeweb and JFrog.
Coralogix's funding round was co-led by Advent, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) and Greenfield, with Brighton Park Capital following.
Company Background: AI Ambition of an Intelligence Veteran
Israel, 2014. Ariel Assaraf, a recently retired techie from military intelligence and a longtime Verint veteran, grabbed a couple of buddies and founded Coralogix in Tel Aviv, and now, ten years later, the company has moved its headquarters to Boston, USA, raised a cumulative total of$550 million(math.) genus
What Coralogix does is summed up in one sentence:Let AI take over O&M monitoring.
While traditional monitoring still relies on dashboards, fixed alarm rules, and engineers troubleshooting with their naked eyes, Coralogix has expanded the users of its observable platform from human engineers, toAI Agentitself. Its core product, the AI Smart BodyOlly.Olly is a powerful tool that enables engineers to understand logs, metrics, and link data through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and then execute system operations directly with the help of the Command Line Interface (CLI). In the past, engineers had to open dashboards, check logs, and analyze the whole process of call chain, but now Olly does it all.
As of June 2026, Coralogix employs more than600 peopleClients over5000 homesThe number of large clients with annual fees exceeding one million dollars is as follows30, including well-known companies such as IBM, Tradeweb, JFrog, Postman, Jupiter Money, Meesho and others. Annualized revenue (ARR) surpassed more than a year ago$100 millionIn the past year, revenues have risen by more than60%, the current ARR is reported to have brokenRMB 600 million (about US$ 84 million).
More notably, in May 2026, Coralogix has just entered into a strategic partnership with privacy and security company Skyflow to redefine privacy and security observability in the age of AI - protecting sensitive customer data by default, while keeping observable data fully available to humans and AI systems. This means Coralogix is evolving from a ”surveillance tool” to an ”AI infrastructure”.
Second, the founding team: intelligence genes + machine learning, born for AI O&M
| Character | character | contexts |
|---|---|---|
| Ariel Assaraf | Co-Founder and CEO | Graduated in Economics and Mathematics from the Open University of Israel, then received a Master's degree in Neuroscience and Machine Learning. Served in the Israeli Security Service (Military Intelligence), then worked at Verint, etc. Founded Coralogix in 2014, described by TechCrunch as ”building a product system with complete data, open access, and controllable infrastructure at its core long before the industry was talking about AI Agents! ” |
| Alon Gubkin | Co-founder and CTO | Core designer of the technical architecture, leading the differentiated technology path of ”remote streaming querying”. |
| Liran Hason | CEO, Coralogix AI Research Center | Former co-founder and CEO of Aporia, joined after Coralogix acquired Aporia in 2024 to lead the AI Research Center |
| Alon Gubkin | CTO, Coralogix AI Research Center | Former Co-Founder and CTO of Aporia, Co-Leads AI Research Center with Liran Hason |
Assaraf's background is highly iconic - theIntelligence + Machine Learning's dual training gives him two natural abilities: extracting signals from massive amounts of noise (the intelligence mindset), and automating complex systems with algorithms (the machine learning mindset). These are precisely the two capabilities most needed for observability in the AI era.
Third, the development process: seven rounds of financing, ten years of grinding a sword
The pace of Coralogix's funding has been precise, with each round stepping on the cusp of industry change:
| timing | classifier for laps, turns, rounds | sum of money | key event |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2014.08 | seed round | One million dollars | Explore. Dream. Discover. and Janvest Capital Partners invested in the company and the company was born |
| 2016.11 | angel round (finance) | $5.2 million | StageOne Ventures and others led a $16.2 million cumulative funding round |
| 2019.11 | Series A | $10 million. | Aleph Venture Capital Leads Investment, Israeli Veteran Background Recognized by Capital |
| 2021.07 | C round | $55 million | Greenfield Partners Leads Accelerated Global Expansion |
| 2022.06 | D round | $142 million | Advent International, Brighton Park Capital led the investment.Valuation exceeds $1 billion, officially a unicorn |
| 2024.12 | acquire (a company) | undisclosed | Acquired AI surveillance startup Aporia (raised $30 million with Tiger Global and Samsung Next Ventures) and established Coralogix AI Research Center. |
| 2025.06 | E round | $115 million | NewView Capital leads, CPPIB, NextEquity follow, pre-investment valuation of over $1 billion |
| 2026.06 | F-wheel | $200 million | Advent, CPPIB, and Greenfield co-led the investment, followed by Brighton Park Capital.Valued at $1.6 billion, largest single financing since inception |
A few key observations::
First, financing is accelerating. From Series D (June 2022) to Series F (June 2026), three rounds of financing were completed in less than four years, and the amount climbed all the way from $142 million to $200 million. In particular, Series E to Series F was completed in less than a year, which is extremely rare in the current capital winter.
Second, strategic acquisitions are precisely complementary. The December 2024 acquisition of Aporia fills a gap in AI workload monitoring; Aporia's core product, Guardrails, is designed to prevent large model illusions and data breaches, and was integrated directly into the Coralogix platform after the acquisition to form a unified solution of ”traditional IT monitoring + AI monitoring”. "Aporia's core product, Guardrails, is designed to prevent large model illusions and data breaches.
Thirdly, the line-up of funders is luxurious and stable. Advent International has followed Coralogix from Series D to Series F, CPPIB (Canada Pension Plan Investment Board) has participated in Series E and Series F, and Greenfield Partners has continued to raise its bets. This continued betting by ”old money” indicates that the capital markets are highly consistent in their judgment of Coralogix.
Core Competitiveness: What makes Datadog tough?
In the observability track, Datadog has a market capitalization of over $40 billion, Splunk was acquired by Cisco for $28 billion, and New Relic is a tens of billions of dollars player. what makes Coralogix break out? Three trump cards:
Ace One: Remote Streaming Query Architecture, One Order of Magnitude Lower Costs
Traditional observability tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Datadog) use an ”index and query” model - all data is indexed when it is ingested, whether it is useful or not, which is computationally intensive and extremely costly.Indexless Queries + Streamingarchitecture, data is stored in customer's own object storage (S3/GCS), on-demand querying, not paying for useless data. Measured query processing time is reduced from 30 seconds on PostgreSQL to 86 milliseconds on ScyllaDB, a speedup of349 times.
In Assaraf's words, ”Our architecture supports remote streaming query analysis at a lower cost, which creates opportunities for us.”
Ace 2: AI native, not ”new wine in old bottles”
While Datadog and Splunk were still ”embedding AI” in their existing products, Coralogix was designed from day one with ”complete data + open access + controlled infrastructure” at its core. Today, AI Agent Olly operates directly on the production system, the MCP tells it where the data is and how to understand it, and the CLI lets it do the work - it's not just adding an AI chatbox to the monitor.Changing the user of the monitoring platform from an engineer to the AI itself.
Ace III: Open Data, Customer's Call
Coralogix does not lock down data. Customers can store and manage data on their own, and even deploy in specific geographic areas to meet data residency requirements. The May 2026 partnership with Skyflow takes this concept to the extreme - sensitive data is protected by default, but observable data is fully usable by humans and AI without ”one-size-fits-all” blackening. "One-size-fits-all blacking out.
| dimension (math.) | Coralogix | Datadog / Splunk |
|---|---|---|
| build | Remote streaming queries, no indexing, lower cost | Centralized Storage + Indexing, Costs Soar with Data Volume |
| AI positioning | AI native, Olly operates production systems directly | Post-embedded AI, patchy upgrades |
| data strategy | Open format, customer-driven storage | Closed ecology, data lock |
| estimation | $1.6 billion | Datadog 40 billion + / Splunk 28 billion (acquired) |
Development prospects: three-year IPO, pointing to NASDAQ
Short term: no shortage of money to make a profit
Assaraf made his position clear:“The financing is not due to the need for additional capital, but rather a desire to accelerate the layout during the AI window.” There is no plan for a new round of financing in the short term, and the company will make every effort to promote profitability in the next few years. The company has already controlled its operations in accordance with the financial norms of listed companies, but has not yet disclosed the specific timing of the IPO.
The $200 million from the F round will be invested in three directions:
- AI Agent capability development: Accelerate Olly, MCP, and CLI iterations for smarter AI O&M;
- Telemetry data infrastructure: Expanding modeless telemetry data lakes to support real-time processing at AI scale;
- Global Market ExpansionFocus on India (second largest market in South Asia with more than 100 customers) and plan to invest in five years.$100 million, doubling its Indian workforce from about 100.
Medium term: three years to market
Coralogix has a clear goal -IPO filing on NASDAQ within three years. From a $1 billion valuation in Series D to $1.6 billion in Series F, with annual revenue growth of over $60%, a continually expanding customer base, and structural dividends in the AI track, the path to IPO has been paved.
Assaraf is even considering acquiring homegrown Indian startups to accelerate its expansion: ”We are already in talks with a number of Indian companies about potential mergers and acquisitions.”
Long-term: infrastructure-level players in AI O&M
As AI Agents penetrate enterprise operations at scale, monitoring platforms will no longer serve only human engineers, but increasingly AI systems.Coralogix is targeting this structural shift - theFrom passive monitoring to AI proactive O&M, from human tools to AI infrastructure.
Assaraf's judgment rings true: ”Long before the industry started talking about AI Agents, we built our product system around the complete data, open data permissions, and controllable infrastructure that our customers need. What's changed today is just the way the upper layers interact; AI systems are engaging in O&M just as much as engineers.”
concluding remarks
The story of Coralogix is essentially a story of timing. The founders, who came from a military intelligence background, spent a decade forging a log analytics company into a core player in the AI era of operations and maintenance infrastructure. From a small office in Tel Aviv in 2014, to a team of 600 in Boston in 2026, a valuation of $1.6 billion, and 5,000 customers - this is not luck, but a veteran's accurate prediction of technology trends.
$1.6 billion is not the end of the line. When the day comes that AI truly takes over O&M, Coralogix may prove it:It's not just another surveillance tool, but the first layer of infrastructure in the age of AI.
