
What is OpenManus?
OpenManus is a domesticAI AgentThe MetaGPT team, part of startup DeepWisdom, developed the open sourceAI AgentFraming.
OpenManus was born out of a desire toManus AIproduct replica. manus as a claimed "The World's First Universal AI Intelligence Body" a commercial product that has attracted widespread attention because of its unique AI Agent feature and closed internal testing invitation code mechanism. However, the high price of invitation code speculation and closed ecology limit the experience of ordinary users. In order to break this barrier, MetaGPT team developed OpenManus in just three hours and open-sourced it for users to use for free.
OpenManus Project Features
- Open source and free: OpenManus is completely open source and users can download, install and use it without paying any fees. This greatly reduces the threshold of AI Agent technology, enabling more users to experience the powerful features of AI Agent.
- Localized Deployment: Unlike Manus, which runs in the cloud, OpenManus supports localized deployment. Users can run OpenManus on their own computers and drive the intelligences to perform various tasks by inputting commands through the terminal. This localized deployment enhances interactivity and controllability, allowing users to have a more intuitive understanding of the working process of the intelligences.
