Artbreeder is an online artificial intelligence compositing creative tool developed by Morphogen Studios, founded by Joel Simon, that allows users to create new works of art by tweaking and blending features of existing images. It not only supports independent creation, but also offers co-creation, which means that users can synthesize their own creations with those of others to generate new works. All creations will contain compositing information, allowing users to track how each creation was composited step by step.

Artbreeder is based on Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) technology, which realizes interactive mixing and synthesis between images. 2. Browse & FavoritesFor beginners, you can browse through the works created by other users and filter the topics you want to browse by the category filter function below. When you see something you like, you can click on the heart icon below the image to bookmark it, so that you can use it as a composite material when you create.
3. Choose a starting point: The user can choose a favorite image as a starting point and click to open the image. When opened, the character's "family tree" is displayed, showing its origin and each step of the compositing process.
4. Detailed adjustmentsClick on the "BREED" button underneath the character to enter the interface for adjusting details. The control panel on the right side provides a variety of "genes" for users to adjust, such as hair color, eye color, gender, age, mood, ethnicity, makeup and hair, etc. Users can adjust these genes according to their own preferences and observe the corresponding changes. 5. Add Parent RoleClick on the "ADD PARENT" button to select another character to be synthesized with the current character. You can choose from the list of trending characters, or you can choose from your favorite characters. Once selected, you will see the two characters at the top and two control bars at the bottom, one for facial features and one for style. Users can adjust these two control bars according to their own preferences, and then combined with the genetic adjustments on the right, step by step to adjust to their desired look.
6. Addition of new genes: If you are still not satisfied with the above adjustments, you can add some new genes. Click the "+GENES" button on the upper right corner, a list of genes will appear, which are all homemade genes uploaded by users.
