February 14 (Yan Yiyi) International Data Corporation (IDC) and Wave Information jointly released the "2025 China Artificial Intelligence Computing Power Development Assessment Report" (the "Report"). The Report states that large models andgenerative artificial intelligence (AI)Pushing up demand for computing power, China's smart computing power is growing faster than expected.
IDC's latest forecast results show that China's smart arithmetic scale will be 725.3 EFLOPS in 2024 and will reach 1,037.3 EFLOPS in 2025, and in 2026, China's smart arithmetic scale will reach 1,460.3 EFLOPS, twice as much as that of 2024 and will reach 2,781.9 EFLOPS in 2028, and 2023- The five-year CAGR of China's smart arithmetic scale and general-purpose arithmetic scale in 2028 will reach 46.21 TP4T and 18.81 TP4T, respectively, which is a significant increase from the previous version's expected values of 33.91 TP4T and 16.61 TP4T.
According to an IDC report, China's AI arithmetic market will reach $19 billion in 2024, $25.9 billion in 2025, a year-on-year growth of 36.21 TP4T, and $55.2 billion in 2028.
